Purpose: Plot out what happened in the story you read in your reading book this week.
Instructions: Read over the story you read in your Houghton-Mifflin reading book this week, or if it's only Monday or Tuesday, choose last week's story.
Visit this website to plot out the events from the story. For Project Title, type in the name of the story, the author, and then choose the labels "Beginning, Middle, End". Click on "NEXT".
Enter each plot event and then drag it into the diagram in its right place.
JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT:
Type in 5-7 events that happened in your story from beginning to end as well as each of their descriptions. Drag the events onto the triangle (whether the events are closer to the beginning, middle, or ending).
When you are done, print it out, get the copy from Mrs. Reed's room, and stick the paper in your journal.
