COMPARING AND CONTRASTING TWO OF FLORIDA'S LIGHTHOUSES

Purpose: Read about two of Florida's lighthouses that are located on the Atlantic coast. Compare and contrast them using a Venn Diagram.

Instructions: Visit this website to learn about the St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral lighthouses.

JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT: Go to Ms. Jasztal's Reading File Cabinet to get a Venn Diagram chart. Write five facts that are unique to the St. Augustine lighthouse on the left side, and write five facts that are unique to the Cape Canaveral lighthouse on the right side. In the center, write three facts that both share- however, do not state that they are both lighthouses because then you are stating something very obvious!
