SWING THROUGH THE WORD JUNGLE

Purpose: Find out the definitions of words based on context clues. Choose one of three words that relates to a given definition.

Instructions: Click on the link to Word Jungle and switch the level to Grade Four. You have to answer 21 questions through 7 different levels to capture Tukka's Treasure.

JOURNAL ASSIGNMENT:

Write down the definitions of three words you have learned by playing Word Jungle. Remember to write down the words AND the definitions.

Some of the questions were so much easier than others because you already knew the definitions of those words. Yet some were harder! When you don't know the definition of a word, how do you figure the definition out?
