    JOURNAL ENTRY::

  • After the virtual tour [spend about 10 minutes on the tour], go to the reading drawer and get blank white paper. Fold in thirds to make a brochure.
  • On the cover, write Visit Homosassa Springs State Park!. Sketch a photo below of something you would find at the park.
  • Inside, write the answer to each question below::
    - What can you see at Homosassa Springs State Park? Write an introduction paragraph of five sentences or more describing what someone's experience at Homosassa Springs would be like.
    - Homosassa Springs has birds of prey! Name three birds that are considered to be "birds of prey".
    - The main attraction at Homosassa is manatees. Click on Manatee Programs. What are two facts about manatees?
    - Write five other facts about the wildlife at the park.
